Deputy Managers x3, DIY, Buckinghamshire Hertfordshire & salary to £26,000 plus benefits
The Company: One of the UK's leading DIY chains, specialising in building, decorating products for interior and external DIY products to the Trade and General Public. Well recognised for its 'no frills' approach backed by expert knowledge provided by fully trained specialist staff. As part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen their store teams to enable them to continue to provide the best possible service they are recruiting a quantity of Deputy Managers to work in their South West London branches as part of a national recruitment drive.
The Role: To support the General Manager to achieve the business goals of excellent customer service by maintaining high standards in all areas, whilst exceeding sales targets and maximising profits.
About you: You will be an experienced retail manager who has worked in a fast paced environment where initiative is allowed to flourish and is rewarded. There is the need to be hands on and lead from the front, managing performance through the people in your team. It is likely that you could currently be running your own store but understand the opportunity to progress with a larger business or are a Deputy frustrated by the opportunities to progress.
