This will be the 2nd year running for this fun kitsch Exclusive Tickets Only party night it will be held this year at The Old White Hart Inn (Cotton End Northampton) in their fantastic party space The Purple Room Last year we had around 120 people attending the event (raising almost £1500 this year s venue has a 150 person capacity so you ll be among plenty of fans of both Eurovision the bizarre The event attracts all kinds of people looking to have a fun time is open to everyone 18 years or over the focus of the evening is The Eurovision Song Contest (whilst raising money for The Lowdown is an added bonus The Purple Room has an amazing Audio Visual set-up including a Huge Projector Screen which is brilliantly suited to us watching the Bbc1 Live Coverage of The Eurovision Song Contest on the evening great sound system for hosting our Retro Pop Disco from 1115pm-0200am. In addition we have our very own Private Bar too which will be serving until around 2am The Old White Hart Inn has loads of parking spaces at the rear a great outdoor smoking drinking area (downstairs) some funky modern decor very helpful staff. This year we will also be providing (with the assistance of the venue) a light buffet included in the ticket price (available from 7-9.30pm If you fancy a full sit-down meal The Old White Hart Inn caters for all tastes in their Ground Floor Bar Dining Area which comes highly recommended If you don t fancy our Retro Pop Disco afterwards (it will be good would rather head into town after the Contest (around 11.30pm) the town centre bars clubs Bridge Street are just a few minutes walk away Only 10 minutes from the M1 if driving. Alternatively the Rail Bus Stations are within 10-15minutes walk. Accommodation is available at the venue (please book direct in advance at various hotels b&bs in the near vacinity Finally We learnt from last year that it is best to get to the venue early say 7.30-8pm latest not only to ensure you get a decent spot but also to get the most from the announcements activities which are well underway by this time.
