We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join a leading software house.They are major players on a global scale and are now looking for a Project Manager to join their offices in France. With a trading history spanning over 20 years, they are firmly established at the forefront of their field and continue to provide innovative financial and corporate treasury management software solutions. The successful project manager will be required to coordinate and monitor project teams implementing highly specialised financial software and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within agreed budgetary and timescale constraints. In doing so, you will be managing multiple projects often running concurrently, up to and in excess of 1000 days. This will demand liason between customers, project teams and other in house departments to ensure early problem resolution, swift escalation and software correction when necessary. It will be essential that you understand and manage the project scope and well as work alongside the sales team to ensure that appropriate customer expectations are managed at all times.


To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have:

the ability to communicate confidently in the French BUSINESS language ( fluency would be ideal)
proven experience in Treasury and Capital Markets ideally having worked in one or more of the following environments:

- Systems Integrator
- Management Consultancy
- Treasury Software Consultancy
- Investment Management/ Leading financial institution

completed a MINIMUM of FIVE full project lifecycle implementations lasting in excess of 1000 man days effort
extensive experience delivering software based solutions and implementing Treasury Management solutions
a demonstrable track record operating with clients at senior management and board level
a thorough understanding of the treasury functions within a Corporate Treasury and a wider understanding of the financial industry,instruments and market processes
knowledge of project methodologies, with a certification such as Prince II. PMP etc being highly desirable
Fluent in BOTH spoken and written English
Strong working knowledge in Information Systems, particularly UNIX/ Windows NT enviroments.
