All trained up and no place to run??!

If you haven't yet secured a place for the upcoming Bupa 10K Marathon, and would like to run for a really worthwhile cause, then do get in touch! We'd LOVE to have you running for the MDC and have some guaranteed places left!

The Bupa London 10k is a new event organised by the team responsible for the Flora London Marathon and takes place on the 26th May 2008, Bank Holiday Monday. The route will incorporate part of the Olympic Marathon Circuit which will be used in the 2012 games and will take you past many of London's famour landmarks.

If you decide to run for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, as well as a guaranteed place, we'll support you with a full running pack, complete with fundraising and training tips, and a bright orange MDC running vest or tshirt. Plus, when you reach the end of the race, we'll be there to greet you and bring you to our post-race reception where you'll be treated to a meal and a well-deserved massage.

For a place in the race, all we ask is for runners to pay a registration fee of £50 and pledge to raise a minimum of £450 to help us in our fight against muscle disease.

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the only UK charity focusing on all muscular dystrophies and allied disorders. It has pioneered the search for treatments and cures for almost 50 years and provides practical, medical and emotional support to 300,000 people affected directly or indirectly by neuromuscular disorders and muscular dystrophy.
