Our private client is one of the largest independent sector providers of community based, post acute brain injury rehabilitation in Europe. The site is a 16 bed residential rehabilitation centre in Milton Keynes, with associated Transitional Living Units and Supported Houses in the local community.

We are looking for a clinical psychologist to provide neurobehavioural rehabilitation to clients with an acquired brain injury. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an interest in neuropsychological assessment and/or rehabilitation and not necessarily have direct experience in it. You will be expected to lead the day to day provision of clinical psychology on the unit, as well as providing close management of clients, working with families and liaising with external agencies. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and physiotherapy, as well as clinical psychologists and assistant psychologists. You will have close supervision from an experienced consultant clinical psychologist.

We have 2 roles available at the same level, one for a locum with a view to being taken on substantively, and one for a permanent member of staff.

You must be HPC registered or eligible for chartership.
