Engineering Manager. My client is based near Cambridge and seeks to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their busy maintenance team The duties will include the effective management of the Mechanical ,Electrical and Tooling functions including PPM,Machine installations and modifications of machinery support and factory services.
A key focus would be to manage the engineering team so each can perform to their potential ,identify any training needs,project support ,utility maintenance including HV gas ,water and air supply,set and drive KPI's and develop a continuous improvement culture using lean principles ,tpm,six sigma etc
The right candidate for this role will come from a manufacturing background ideally ,FMCG ,Packaging,Plastics,Printing .
