Kkitchen assistant

A kitchen assistant is wanted for our small and friendly country pub / restaurant / hotel (6 rooms).

A full time live-in position, five days per week, split shifts. Starting pay £185pw rising to £200p.w after 3 months plus tips and live-in package.

We are looking for someone who could start a.s.a.p who would be prepared to help us in all areas of the pub, restaurant and hotel. Some experience of bar work, kitchen, waiting on tables or hotel work would be helpful as you will be expected to move into these jobs when it is needed although we mostly need a wash up at the moment and help with breakfast and cold food.

The successful applicant should have good communication skills, the job requires taking some hotel reception telephone calls and dealing with the public, bar work, kitchen help, waiting on tables and hotel work. We would also want you to be enthusiastic and have a happy attitude with a smart and tidy appearance with no piercings and be a non smoker.
The Red Lion Country Hotel is a small and friendly, traditional country inn serving good food. Situated in Salford Village near Milton Keynes. About half an hour north of London by train or an hour by bus.
