Sap Logistics Support Specialist
My client is looking for a SAP Logistics Support Specialist to join their busy and expanding team
You must have or be able to gain SC security clearance for this position
Role Purpose:
System Analysts (SAP Logistics Support Specialists) deliver Software Support Services within the SAP R/3 application - deliver services, teach client users on specific application functionality, and develop new services to extend or broaden my clients reach into their client's infrastructure services requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The System Analyst 1 (SAP Logistics Support Specialist )position is the expert-level position in Applications Support:
•Ensures high levels of client satisfaction for the products/solutions supported.
•Addresses all questions regarding the configuration and customisation within the areas of domain expertise.
•Responds to Level 2 problems in a timely and accurate manner and ensures that Service Level Agreements are met.
•Recognised as a Subject Matter Expert on products being supported and is knowledgeable of competitor's products.
•On specific situations, or on the request of development research and resolve Level 3 support issues as required.
•Participate promoting additional services.
•Identifies, documents and estimates (costs/revenue) opportunities for add-on services
•Attempts to reproduce reported problems, identifies, and provides immediate workarounds to overcome problems
•Identifies product and documentation deficiencies and makes suggestions for improvement.
•Analyses and resolves problems escalated from lower-level of expertise within the organisation
•Acts as a subject-matter expert in SAP R/3 MM/PM/WM
•Applies best practices and promoting continuous process improvement
•May manage the design and implementation of processes and process improvements
•Acts as technical and business domain subject-matter expert to other groups and to clients
•Reviews applicable 3rd Party products and activities
•Provides training plans and needs for a Client Support Team
•Acts as consulting expert to advise on the functional/technical/organisational matters which can impact the work/business processes.
•Acts as Project Lead for larger application developments
Key Qualifications:
•Minimum 2 years experience in supporting and configuring the SAP WM/PM/MM and MM-MRP modules
•Experience of logistics and a strong knowledge of the underlying processes, inventory management, procurement, master data.
•ITIL awareness training.
•Experience of Remedy Call logging system is advantageous
