The Company
The Temporary Division of Robert Half Finance & Accounting is recruiting a Purchase Ledger clerk for our client in Aylesbury
The Role
As the Purchase Ledger clerk you will be entering invoices / credit notes onto SAGE, allocating these to the relevant supplier and purchase order, completing BACS and Cheque runs, reconciling the ledger balances to supplier statements, liaising with the purchasing department to resolve invoice / purchase order variances, validate and verify incoming expenses and maintain the petty cash balance. The suitable candidate will have at least 2 years experience of working within a Purchase Ledger environment and be a confident user of Microsoft Excel whilst having the ability to work accurately and to deadlines. My client is looking to recruit the role on a three month temporary to permanent basis with an immediate start.The client is also keen to add that for the right candidate, a career path within the finance function is a strong possibility.
Salary & Benefits
The role is paying £8.50 plus holiday pay, there is also free parking and a very pleasant working environment.
