A truly unique opportunity is available for a Senior C# Developer with to join my client who are a well recognised, global FTSE 100 organisation. They offer a technically driven outfit and the opportunity to play a key part in their continued success of the company who have just launched many worldwide products. Specialising in providing cutting edge solutions to the education sector my client are looking for an experienced C# Developer who has an understanding for business requirements and good experience with .NET 3.5, WPF, Silverlight and SQL Server as they are now migrating their systems which serve over 20,000 end users.

An ideal applicant would have expert understanding of C# WinForms applications, this is an essential requirement as a large percentage of there are Windows based. Any experience with the web and ASP.NET would be highly beneficial, applications at present are deployed in .NET 2.0 but are due to be migrated to 3.5 so experience with .NET 3.5 and WPF are required along with an expert understanding of SQL Server 2005.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and construction of customisation and developments. Leading a variety of Winforms projects you would mentor more junior developers, lead parts of the migration from 2.0 and remain hands on as they enter a very busy time due to a software launch.

Working within a large development team of 50, the successful candidate would be play a significant and key part in our continued growth and gain great exposure to many exciting projects.
