Hello! We are a family living in Milton Keynes, very close to Willen Lake, and are looking for our 2nd dog to be a companion for our 2-year old male Springer Spaniel. Denver sadly went blind when he was 6 months old, and we think he would be much happier with a little friend to play with. He cannot play fetch or any of the other usual doggy games, as he cannot see; but he can run, chase and play when other dogs give him the chance. He is very socialised and is passive, so we are looking for an easy-going pal who won't dominate him too much.

We also have a 9-month old baby, so are very concerned that we know the full history of the dog that we rehome, hence not contacting rescue organisations. Although the dogs will be looked after at home all day - we do not have the time to devote to rehabilitate a pet with personality or psychological issues. Our baby is crawling and occasionally pulls tails/ears, so your dog must have grown up with babies/children and be very tolerant of a reasonable amount of man-handling and curiosity!

In order to avoid rescue organisations from getting involved, we would like to have a trial placement with a potential dog, lasting around 7-10 days, to see how everyone gets on. So if this suits your situation, and you can answer 'yes' to these statements, please get in touch:
