A confident BID Manager/ Proposals Manager is required for a leading Utilities company based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire and covering the region.

Responsibilities include managing all allocated bids to ensure that the business plan growth targets are met, managing and controlling bid teams to ensure that compliant, high quality, competitive bids are submitted for all allocated bids and ensuring the required corporate approval is received at the required time for all allocated proposals and bids.

Specific areas of the job role include:-Managing multi-disciplinary bid teams.-Delivering effective bids to match clients' needs/expectations.-External & internal stakeholder management.-Bid specific client relationship management.-Technical Solution management.-Financial management.-Bid budget management.-Partner & sub contractor management.-Risk management.-Transition to delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will have relevant BID management, tender processing, proposal managing experience within ideally the utilities, process, infrastructure on construction industry. Experience of working with exclusive deals, bespoke proposals would be ideal.
·Demonstrable success in a bid management role particularly in a service based rather than products based business. Extensive experience of commercial bids, with experience of various contract and financial models.
·Very strong interpersonal skills gained through external client & partnership working. Experience of working in joint ventures with an ability to be sensitive to partners needs whilst maintaining the commercial position is beneficial.
